Measuring Impact

“We don’t fund problems, we finance solutions.”

Philanthropic impact is measured in three ways:

1

at the individual level

2

at the capacity level of an organization and

3

at the societal or sector level creating shifts in the issue area.

Identification, Engagement & Collaboration

Understanding our client’s priorities is key to finding meaningful solutions. At K&C we look at the big picture through a lens of innovation, creativity and connection. Understanding that a problem is an opportunity, and that finding answers to unmet and unarticulated needs is not always an easy task with an obvious solution.

Our role is to support and guide you through an evaluation process that assesses how effective your charitable dollar has been. We do this by:

  1. Reviewing the programs and services that were invested in as they relate to the problem being addressed
  2. Contextualizing the time-horizon of the grant and the scalability of the solution
  3. Placing the solution into the larger picture of similar organizations
  4. Comparing grants of equal sizes to issue areas for peer-to-peer analysis
  5. Aligning the outcomes and outputs with your social vision (Theory of Change)
